Digital PR gets news about your brand published on news and media websites. Press release distribution is one way to do it: your announcement is prepared and published across a list of outlets, sometimes with extra reach through local newswires.
How it differs from guest posting
- A press release announces something newsworthy: a launch, partnership, award, event or milestone.
- A guest post is an article that offers advice or insight, written to be useful to a publication’s readers.
Both can include links. They suit different goals, and many brands use both.
What makes a release publishable
- It contains real news, not just a sales pitch.
- Claims are factual and can be backed up.
- It follows the outlet’s editorial and compliance guidelines.
- It includes clear company details and a contact.
Publishers can ask for changes, for example to remove promotional wording. That is normal.
Setting expectations
A distribution package publishes your release on the outlets in the plan. It does not guarantee rankings, traffic or sales. The value comes from the coverage, the visibility and the links where the publisher allows them.
Choosing a package
Our PR packages start at $50. If you only need one outlet, there are single posts on Barchart, Street Insider and AP News. Compare everything on the pricing page, or ask us if you are not sure which fits your announcement.
